ThinkingAI Press today released “The AI-Native Organization: From Thinking to Practice,” a 268-page book by founder and CEO Paris Lyu. It debuts at the ThinkingAI Agentic Growth Summit, where the company is also showing its Agentic Engine platform.
“Buying AI tools is the easy part,” said Lyu. “It’s much harder to rebuild how a company coordinates its work processes with these new tools, because that determines whether the spending pays off. The companies that redesign their corporate structures around AI will operate at a scale and speed that’s never been experienced before.”
Before AI tools, every organization faced the same limit: the bigger the company got, the slower it moved, because people had to carry information from where it happened to whoever could act on it. Lyu argues that AI is the first technology capable of moving information without a person in the middle. While the tools are easy to buy, many companies are skipping a vital step: stating in plain terms what the business goal is and where the machine’s judgment should stop.
Lyu wrote the book as a running record of how he reconstructed his company around AI. He starts with his old company: one customer conversation reached him after 23 days and four handoffs, and less than a tenth of the customer’s original words remained. He is just as specific about what broke in the process of fixing the information flow. He had to roll back the architecture. Delegation boundaries were drawn in the wrong place. Three months were lost to an open-source shortcut. There were also wins that created the company that exists today.
Selected excerpts
“When machines no longer need people to be constantly present, human presence must find its reason anew.”
“However big the company, its heart should remain the size of a small room.”
“Transmitting information is machine work; conferring meaning and mending relationships is human work.”

About the author
Paris Lyu is the founder and CEO of ThinkingAI. Trained in computer science, he joined Tencent after graduating in 2011 and left in 2015 to found ThinkingData, which built an intelligent big-data analytics platform that has served more than 1,500 companies at home and abroad over the past decade. In 2026, ThinkingData was renamed ThinkingAI and launched Agentic Engine, an enterprise-grade AI agent platform. Ten years ago, to help companies become data-driven, he proposed the principles-methods-tools framework. This book carries that framework into the age of intelligence and proposes a seventh coordination mechanism for organizations: semantic coordination.
About ThinkingAI
ThinkingAI, formerly ThinkingData, builds autonomous growth software for consumer and gaming companies. For its first decade, the company helped enterprises understand their behavioral data. It now builds agents that sense, plan and act on that data inside the customer’s own infrastructure.
