Knox Systems now supports customers seeking IL5 accreditation, one of the government’s most stringent security environments, that enables software providers to work with the U.S. military.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Knox Systems (Knox), the largest FedRAMP and DISA-managed cloud provider, today announced its Impact Level 5 (IL5) environment, sponsored by the U.S. Space Force.

The new environment provides a secure, mission-ready landing zone for commercial software and AI applications supporting the Department of War’s (DoW) most sensitive workloads, including Controlled Unclassified Information and mission-critical National Security Systems.

Purpose-built as a separate, dedicated boundary, the Knox IL5 landing zone will extend its existing FedRAMP High and Impact Level 4 DoW capabilities, which Knox has held since 2019. The platform is designed to meet the elevated security, isolation, and operational requirements necessary to support high-impact defense missions while enabling technology companies to enter the environment faster and without building and operating a standalone government cloud deployment.
