Three-Year Contract — Platform Supporting Elementary Schools’ “New Sports and Cultural Activities”

(Nasdaq: LFS) (the “Company” or “Leifras”), a sports and social business company dedicated to youth sports and community engagement, and a leading operator of children’s sports schools and school club activity support businesses in Japan, today announced that it had been awarded a continuation contract by the City of Nagoya for the “Nagoya School Club Activities Human Resources Bank Operation Services” (the “Contract”). Under the Contract, the Company will continue, for the three years beginning September 1, 2026, to comprehensively operate the recruitment, training, and matching system for instructors responsible for the “new sports and cultural activities” at Nagoya municipal elementary schools (the “Project”), which activities the Company has operated since April 2022. The Project is designed to address the challenge of securing qualified local staff capable of providing professional and safe instruction, as the country transitions the manner in which school club activities are conducted from school-based to community-based management, and to facilitate the establishment of a sustainable operating structure.

Nagoya City’s “Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank” Initiative

Nagoya City has implemented “New Sports and Cultural Activities,” under which the operation of club activities at municipal elementary schools is outsourced to private-sector service providers. Across municipal elementary schools in the city’s 16 wards, sports, music, and other activities are offered after school on weekdays to students in grades four through six who wish to participate.

The “Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank” serves as a framework for recruiting and training instructors and other personnel needed to support these activities.

Through its operation of the Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank, the Company recruits and trains instructors and supports the development of an environment in which children in Nagoya City can safely participate in meaningful and fulfilling sports and cultural activities.

Overview and Features of the “Nagoya Club Activities Human Resources Bank”

In furtherance of the Project, the Company manages the entire process of recruiting and training individuals to serve as instructors for new sports and cultural activities with a comprehensive approach.

• Large-scale recruitment through public relations activities: In addition to operating a dedicated website, the Company plans to conduct ongoing public relations activities, leveraging major recruitment advertising media and various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with the goal of attracting several hundred prospective instructors each year.
• Comprehensive training focused on safety and instructional quality: Leifras plans to provide registered instructors with basic and specialized training covering sport-specific instructional methods, safety management, allergy response, harassment prevention, and other areas. In addition, the Company plans to provide regular training to support continuous skill development to ensure the safety of children participating in activities in Nagoya City. These efforts will be supported by the Company’s safety management expertise, which have enabled it to maintain a record of zero serious accidents.
• Dedicated matching system for efficient instructor recruitment: The Company plans to build a system designed to support smooth recruitment-matching by establishing a database of individuals interested in serving as instructors that allows club activity operators at each school to search for personnel based on preferred ward, sport, and other criteria and pursuant to which offers may be extended directly.
