SAINT LOUIS, MO, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — TinySuperheroes is proud to announce the launch of its September Teamwork Mission, a free social-emotional learning activity designed to help children build relationship skills, strengthen social awareness, and recognize the unique strengths of the people around them. Made possible through the generous sponsorship of Know Your Worth, the Teamwork Mission invites children to create their own Superhero Squad and celebrate the special people who help make their world stronger. Every superhero needs a squad. Whether it is family members, friends, nurses, teachers, caregivers, or other important people in their lives, children are surrounded by individuals who encourage them, support them, and help them find their strength. Through this month’s mission, TinySuperheroes are encouraged to recognize those relationships while learning that the strongest teams are built when everyone’s unique superpowers are valued and celebrated.
“At TinySuperheroes, we believe some of our greatest strength comes from the people who stand beside us,” said Erika Sinner, CEO and Chief Empathy Officer of TinySuperheroes. “The Teamwork Mission gives children an opportunity to recognize the incredible people on their own Super Squad and celebrate what makes each of them special. When children learn to appreciate their own strengths while recognizing the strengths of others, they build the relationship skills, empathy, and connection that will support them throughout their lives.”
“There is a quiet kind of strength that comes from being truly seen, and that is exactly what this mission teaches,” said Sydney Smyers-Conway, Founder of Know Your Worth. “Long before we help a business understand its numbers, we help people understand their value. Sponsoring the Teamwork Mission felt like a natural extension of that work: giving children the language to name what makes the people around them extraordinary, and in doing so, to recognize their own worth as well.” As part of the mission, children will begin by choosing the people they want on their Superhero Squad and writing their names or drawing them as superheroes. They will then identify each person’s unique “superpower” and what makes that person special, whether they make them laugh, help them feel brave, remind them to rest, listen when they need support, or simply make their days brighter.
Children will bring their Super Squad to life by creating a shared piece of superhero art that shows each person and their unique power. Using drawings, colors, stickers, fingerprints, or anything else that inspires their creativity, participants can create a visual celebration of the people who make them stronger. Finally, children are encouraged to share their artwork with someone on their squad and tell them what they appreciate about them. The September Teamwork Mission supports the development of relationship skills and social awareness by encouraging children to listen, care, express appreciation, and recognize the strengths of others. Through creative expression and meaningful conversations, participants learn that teamwork does not mean everyone has to be the same. Instead, the strongest squads are built when each person brings something uniquely their own.
The Teamwork Mission is part of TinySuperheroes’ free Monthly Missions program, which provides children and families with engaging social-emotional learning activities that can be completed at home, in hospitals, classrooms, or communities. Each mission is designed to help children develop important life skills while celebrating the courage, strength, and hope they demonstrate every day. Families can participate in the September Teamwork Mission by creating their Superhero Squad throughout the month and sharing their squad artwork with the TinySuperheroes community.
