Maison Territo wins Gold in Large Retail at the Grands Prix du Design 2026, and is now nominated for the People’s Choice Award, with voting open to the public.
MONTRéAL, QUEBEC, CANADA, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Maison Territo has been awarded a Gold certification in the Large Retail category at the 19th Grands Prix du Design, the international design competition organized in Montreal by INT Design. The Royalmount showroom also earned a Silver certification for Identity, Signage & Branding, and has now been nominated for the People’s Choice Award, whose winner is decided by public vote.
Spanning more than 11,000 square feet, Maison Territo reimagines the high-end furniture showroom as an immersive architectural journey, one in which space itself becomes the vehicle for brand identity. Conceived by Maison Territo in collaboration with Montreal firm blanchette archi.design, the project unfolds as a succession of distinct worlds, each dedicated to one of four iconic international brands: Fendi Casa, Versace Home, Dolce & Gabbana Casa and Bentley Home.
The experience begins at the plaza, where a sequence of aluminum arches marks the facade and signals the showroom from a distance. Inside, each brand is given its own atmosphere; Fendi Casa opens the journey with a mineral, luminous palette. Bentley Home follows with a calm, timeless mood of wood and stone. Versace Home asserts its opulence in marble and contrast. Dolce & Gabbana Casa closes with a spectacular, expressive moment of animal motifs and colour. Together they form a continuous whole in which every house keeps its personality.
The identity and signage grow out of the architecture itself. Transitions between worlds are drawn with visual frames, shifts in material and architectural elements that double as spatial landmarks and brand signatures, while glass partitions, pivoting screens and modular walls let the displays evolve with each new collection. The palette is deliberately noble and expressive: lime plaster, marble, mahogany, Murano glass, anodized metals and polished concrete, lit by a modular system that can transform the mood of the space for each presentation.
At the centre, a sculptural bar crowned by a monumental 17-foot light fixture by Larose & Guyon anchors the space and roots the project in Quebec craftsmanship. The design spans the full architecture and interior, from scenography and material selection to custom elements and close coordination with the four brands.
“To be recognized by our peers, and now to be placed in the hands of the public, is a proud moment for our whole team and for Montreal.”
Liv Siv Ing, Co-Founder, Maison Territo
The recognition caps a milestone year for Maison Territo, which brought Fendi Casa, Versace Home, Dolce & Gabbana Casa and Bentley Home together in Canada for the first time, carrying forward the heritage of its sister store, Casavogue. With the People’s Choice Award now open, the public is invited to vote for the project here.
