Longtime customer becomes licensed FlexScreen manufacturer
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — FlexScreen / RiteScreen, North America’s largest company focused exclusively on window and patio door screens, announced today that Wallside Windows has signed an agreement to become a licensed FlexScreen manufacturer.
The agreement expands a relationship that began in 2016, when Wallside Windows first began offering FlexScreen to its customers. By becoming a licensee, Wallside will be able to manufacture FlexScreen products within its Taylor, Michigan, operation, strengthening production efficiency, supply-chain control, and responsiveness to customer demand.
“Wallside recognized the value of FlexScreen early, and its team has been an outstanding partner for nearly a decade,” said Joe Altieri, inventor and founder of FlexScreen. “This license agreement is the natural next step in our relationship. Wallside shares our commitment to innovation, quality, and delivering a better customer experience. We are proud to welcome them to our growing network of licensed manufacturers.”
Founded in 1944, Wallside Windows is a family-owned manufacturer and installer of vinyl replacement windows serving homeowners throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio. The company manufactures its windows at its Taylor facility and has built its reputation around quality, value, and customer service.
“FlexScreen has been a successful part of our product offering since 2016,” said Adam Blanck, President of Wallside Windows. “Bringing this innovative technology into our own manufacturing operation allows us to build on that success while improving efficiency and supporting our commitment to quality to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations. We look forward to working closely with the FlexScreen / RiteScreen team as we begin this next chapter.”
FlexScreen’s patented design replaces the rigid aluminum frame used in traditional window screens with a durable, flexible frame that is easy to install, remove, and store. The streamlined design eliminates painted aluminum frames and traditional attachment hardware while helping manufacturers reduce common production and service challenges.
FlexScreen / RiteScreen will support Wallside throughout the implementation process, including equipment integration, employee training, and production-quality validation. Additional details regarding production and product availability will be announced as implementation progresses.
The licensing agreement follows Seven Point Equity Partners’ strategic combination of FlexScreen and RiteScreen. Seven Point acquired RiteScreen in 2014 and later acquired FlexScreen in 2025, bringing the two companies together to create a unified screen-solutions business. The combination pairs RiteScreen’s nationwide manufacturing capabilities and longstanding customer partnerships with FlexScreen’s patented technology, licensing model and consumer recognition.
