HomeServe, a leading provider of home repair solutions serving millions of homeowners across North America, is proud to be Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the 2026-2027 year, marking the 11th time the company has earned this prestigious workplace recognition. The certification is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at HomeServe. This year, 79% of employees said HomeServe is a great place to work, which is a testament to how the company works with people from across the organization to build a workplace where everyone can thrive.
Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation. Certification is earned solely based on the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company’s culture.
“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work. She emphasizes that Certification is the sole official recognition earned by the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that HomeServe stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for its employees.”
“Earning Great Place To Work certification for the 11th time is a milestone that fills me with tremendous pride — not because of the number itself, but because of what it represents,” said Tom Rusin, CEO of HomeServe North America. “Every year, we ask our people to share honest feedback, and every year, we listen and act on what they tell us. This year’s results reflect real progress and showcase our shared pride and camaraderie and a workforce that overwhelmingly believes we put customers at the heart of everything we do. This isn’t just about survey numbers. It’s proof that when you invest in your people, they invest right back. We’re using survey data to keep building a culture where everyone — regardless of their role, location or background — can thrive, grow and do the best work of their careers.”
HomeServe’s Award-Winning Workplace Culture
HomeServe’s culture is shaped by employee feedback and strengthened by deliberate action. The company’s 2026 Great Place To Work Trust Index survey revealed standout results across several key dimensions of workplace experience: camaraderie scored 79%, pride scored 76% and justice — a measure of fairness and equity — reached 86%, the highest of any category. Eighty-six percent of employees said HomeServe is committed to putting customers at the heart of what it does, and 82% said they would recommend the company’s products to friends and family.
Those results are fueled by a workplace where employees are encouraged to grow, innovate and bring their whole selves to work. Six employee resource groups — spanning ethnicity, gender, LGBTQ+ allyship, veterans, wellness and cultural heritage — create meaningful spaces for connection, belonging and community impact. In 2026 alone, HomeServe’s ERGs and the HomeServe Cares Foundation have directed nearly $55,000 in charitable giving toward employee assistance, community organizations and partner-sponsored causes.
HomeServe is also making significant investments in a company-wide AI enablement program designed to ensure every employee, from frontline contact center agents to HVAC technicians to corporate leaders, has the skills and confidence to thrive in an AI-powered future. Professional development remains a cornerstone of the HomeServe experience. The company provides access to continuous learning opportunities, leadership development programs and clear pathways for career advancement.
According to Great Place To Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
